Description

  • Develop and maintain the enterprise data architecture blueprint across Landing Zone, Raw, Curated, Semantic, and Sandbox layers.
  • Define and manage conceptual, logical, and physical enterprise data models.
  • Design, implement, and expand the semantic layer as the enterprise single source of truth.
  • Deliver governed data marts, curated datasets for AI/ML pilots, and advanced data products.
  • Establish and enforce data governance standards covering lineage, metadata, and business glossary frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi data regulations, including PDPL, NDMO, and SAMA/IA requirements.
  • Implement role-based access controls, PII masking, and auditable security measures.
  • Optimize BigQuery performance and cost through partitioning, clustering, caching, and related techniques.
  • Integrate unstructured and semi-structured data such as logs, documents, and IoT data into governed models.
  • Collaborate with Data Quality, Data Science, and RPA teams, and mentor junior data analysts to build internal capability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
  • Master’s degree in Data Architecture, Data Science, or Business Analytics is preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Architecture and data modeling.
  • Proven experience delivering data marts and semantic layers at scale.
  • Strong expertise with cloud-native data platforms, preferably Google BigQuery.
  • Experience with metadata/catalog tools, data lineage tracking, and governance frameworks.
  • Previous exposure to Saudi data compliance projects, including PDPL, NDMO, and SAMA/IA.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML platforms such as Vertex AI or SageMaker.
  • Experience with data monetization strategies and API marketplaces is preferred.
  • Insurance or financial services domain experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of data classification, security controls, and personal data protection.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, cross-functional leadership, mentoring, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred certifications include Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, DAMA CDMP, and TOGAF.
