Description

  • Review 2–4 Health Guide articles per week, including new pieces and updates, for medical accuracy, evidence, and completeness.
  • Fact-check medical data, statistics, and citations against reputable sources.
  • Ensure citations align with internal medical research guidelines and citation requirements.
  • Apply Health Guide style guides, tone, and SEO/editorial best practices during review.
  • Provide edits and comments in Suggesting mode in Google Docs and respond to editor questions.
  • Communicate with editors and track work progress in Monday.
  • Work directly with Ro’s Health SEO Editor on assigned content.
  • Submit a personal bio and photo for publication on the Ro website.

Requirements

  • MD or DO is required.
  • Active U.S. medical license from a U.S.-based medical school is required.
  • 3+ years of experience medically reviewing consumer-facing medical content for accuracy and completeness.
  • Specialty in urology, men’s health, obesity medicine, and/or internal medicine is preferred.
  • Strong research skills and familiarity with databases such as PubMed are preferred.
  • Medical knowledge related to weight loss, including GLP-1s, erectile dysfunction, including PDE5 inhibitors, and sexual health is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of SEO/AEO principles is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of editorial processes is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Google Docs is preferred.
