Description

  • Contribute to the development of CI/CD principles that improve software delivery processes.
  • Regularly review and refine CI/CD principles in an iterative manner.
  • Provide guidance on the development and operation of CI/CD tools and platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with product teams to create and maintain pipeline configurations.
  • Implement process automation to reduce manual effort and streamline delivery.
  • Communicate with product teams to understand build and deployment requirements and ensure a smooth CI/CD experience.
  • Support project success and client satisfaction through daily delivery and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Must have an active U.S. Secret or TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and able to complete a background investigation.
  • 6+ years of experience in cloud/platform operations or related roles across diverse environments, or recently completed a PhD in a technical field.
  • Experience developing and implementing CI/CD pipelines with security and compliance measures for continuous deployment.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions or equivalent tooling.
  • Proficiency in script writing in any programming language.
  • Ability to manage infrastructure assets, including networks, servers, operating systems, and databases.
  • Knowledge of software packaging tools such as .exe, .deb, .rpm, and Docker.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git, Subversion, and Mercurial.
  • Experience managing cloud providers including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Familiarity with security, vulnerability, monitoring, and code coverage analysis tools.
  • Full-stack experience covering both frontend and backend development.
  • Strong background in API development.
  • Comfort operating software in Linux environments.
  • Solid understanding of algorithms, databases, and design patterns.
  • Excellent communication skills with a preference for a pair-programming environment.
  • Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and agile methodologies.
  • Strong facilitation skills.
  • BA/BS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix command-line troubleshooting is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft AKS and Amazon EKS is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CKA, RHCE, Linux+, MCSA, AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, Security+, CISSP, or CCNA are preferred.
  • Background in DevOps automation practices is preferred.
  • Direct client interaction experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Department of Defense operations, especially a DoD Software Factory context, is preferred.

  • Annual salary range of $143,824 to $179,780.
