Description

  • Perform moderately complex program analysis and coordination tasks with reduced supervision.
  • Conduct routine programmatic data analysis using spreadsheets or standard software and communicate findings clearly.
  • Track task schedules, flag potential delays, and help ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Prepare and update internal documentation such as meeting notes, data logs, and process checklists.
  • Contribute to quality processes, identify quality issues, and escalate them as needed.
  • Support regulatory and contractual compliance activities under supervision.
  • Review the work of others for accuracy and completeness.
  • Support client engagement through meetings, professional communication, and service improvement suggestions.
  • Identify process issues early and offer constructive recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience, with additional education substituting for experience.
  • Experience conducting systematic program or project evaluations to assess inputs, activities, outputs, and value.
  • Experience developing evaluation plans, identifying questions and indicators, collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and reporting findings.
  • Experience developing program logic models and facilitating internal and external partner meetings.
  • Knowledge of rules, procedures, and principles governing intramural and extramural program development, monitoring, and evaluation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to execute instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office productivity software and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
  • Previous experience working with government procedures and guidelines.
  • Ability to use CDC Administrative Systems such as HUMAN SUBJECTS, OMB, IRB, and E-Clearance, or similar systems, efficiently and effectively (preferred).
  • Foundational knowledge of research and analysis methods such as literature reviews, policy analysis, qualitative research techniques, and data synthesis (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of AI tools, including their limitations and risks, and how they can support analytical tasks (preferred).
