Specialized Consumer Services

Description

  • Design, implement, and maintain accurate and interpretable pricing, demand, and forecasting models for the RightsHelper platform.
  • Perform model calibration processes for partner organizations, including external collaboration with partner analytics leaders.
  • Document, standardize, and improve modeling processes and deliverables across partners and internal teams.
  • Support partners with platform setup, delivery of modeled outputs, and ongoing management of modeled deliverables.
  • Collaborate with the Data Science team to drive root-level improvements across demand modeling, sales forecasting, pricing, and ticket inventory optimization.
  • Maintain and improve codebase using version control and software development best practices in a collaborative team environment.
  • Provide input on product development, data collection, data architecture, front-end development, and business strategy.
  • Help build and sustain a collaborative engineering culture focused on ownership and customer empathy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in revenue (yield) management, data science, statistical analytics, machine learning, consulting, or a related field.
  • Experience executing and maintaining models for pricing, forecasting, or marketing applications in an enterprise or fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with a broad range of modeling methodologies and tools, such as exploratory data analysis, regression, simulation, discrete choice, optimization, Bayesian statistics, and causal inference.
  • Proficiency in mathematical and statistical programming with R required; Python is a plus.
  • Experience using git/version control tools in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent reasoning, problem-solving, deduction, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meaningfully generate value in an entrepreneurial or startup environment.
  • Preferred: experience with cloud computing (e.g., AWS, Docker) and proficiency with SQL and relational databases.
  • Preferred: familiarity with BI and presentation tools (e.g., R Shiny, Tableau, D3), web programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), general-purpose languages (C, C++, Java), and knowledge of sports, concert, or ticketing industries.

  • Base pay $95,000–$110,000 per year.
