Description

  • Accurately enter utility invoice data into spreadsheets and internal systems.
  • Review utility invoices for billing, usage, and rate accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies by contacting utility providers, brokers, and on-site personnel.
  • Open and close utility accounts across multiple properties as needed.
  • Maintain organized and current records for utility accounts and invoices.
  • Communicate professionally with internal teams, vendors, and external utility contacts by email and phone.
  • Coordinate vendor site visits for utility or energy-related projects.
  • Provide occasional administrative and executive support as needed.

Requirements

  • Some experience in property management, utility management, or a utility provider/customer service role.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to handle repetitive, data-heavy tasks for extended periods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable interacting with vendors, utilities, and internal teams.
  • Highly organized with the ability to track many accounts simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
  • Experience with Zoho or similar systems.
  • Willingness to follow established processes and grow into a more proactive role over time.
