Description

  • Coordinate communication between the Clinical Team, Case Management Team, and Insurance Department.
  • Verify that all client insurance information is accurate, current, and complete.
  • Monitor client authorizations to keep services active and compliant.
  • Track authorization expiry dates and manage renewals proactively.
  • Resolve insurance-related queries and follow up on outstanding approvals.
  • Maintain accurate client records and supporting documentation.
  • Work with clinicians and case managers to minimize service interruptions.
  • Supervise and support the Care Coordinator with guidance, coaching, and daily oversight.
  • Help improve workflows and administrative processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and healthcare regulations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare administration, medical administration, authorizations, or a similar role.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and cloud-based systems.
