Description

  • Identify and develop content opportunities through state athletic associations, affiliates, and regional relationships.
  • Develop content coverage schedules and production plans with regional and state association partners.
  • Manage state athletic association relationships, contracts, and content production dynamics.
  • Coordinate association, venue, IT, production staff, equipment, and logistics.
  • Develop and manage production budgets while delivering content within budget.
  • Recruit, onboard, book, train, and develop regional production crews and talent.
  • Organize crew assignments, event dates, call times, formats, sponsor obligations, schedules, and content delivery.
  • Lead live event productions in the field and support crews across production roles.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve disruptions to event coverage.
  • Promote content growth opportunities across the Network’s content divisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of related experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of live event production and streaming.
  • Strong leadership, relationship-building, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Technical proficiency with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build and manage teams while working collaboratively under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, scheduling, and deadline-management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, and PowerPoint.
  • Editorial and design experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, or Illustrator is preferred.
  • Ability to work overnight, non-traditional hours, and travel overnight across the Northeast.
