Description

  • Manage procurement activities across 5–6 concurrent core projects in alignment with budgets and schedules.
  • Review engineering drawings, bills of materials, and project specifications to identify material and service requirements.
  • Source and purchase conveyor components, mechanical assemblies, structural steel, motors, drives, bearings, belts, rollers, controls, and fabricated parts.
  • Issue and manage purchase orders and subcontracts for project scopes.
  • Evaluate supplier quotations and negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms.
  • Coordinate freight and logistics with third-party logistics partners to support on-time delivery.
  • Track orders, expedite critical materials, and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Monitor project budgets and support cost-control and budget-comparison activities.
  • Manage onsite equipment rentals, including utilization and off-renting.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, vendors, and suppliers to resolve supply or scope changes.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records in ERP/MRP systems and support supplier performance tracking.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail while managing multiple projects.
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with internal teams and external partners.
  • Experience negotiating with suppliers and conducting solution-oriented conversations.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset and initiative to address issues before they affect projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience or interest in material handling, construction, manufacturing, or a related industry.
