Description

  • Develop and execute international business development strategies to expand market presence in target regions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including government contracts, defense procurement programs, and strategic partnerships.
  • Build and maintain relationships with defense agencies, military organizations, contractors, and government officials.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, including negotiations and contract execution.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, threats, and opportunities in international defense markets.
  • Navigate complex regulatory and export compliance requirements, including EAR.
  • Collaborate with engineering, finance, legal, and operations to develop customized solutions for clients.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
  • Monitor geopolitical and economic developments that may impact international business operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in international sales.
  • Military experience working with multiple international partners in Special Operations may be accepted as a substitute for sales experience.
  • Candidates must be highly self-motivated and able to work with minimal oversight.
  • Candidates must be able to execute independently from a strategic outline and identify realized opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills with a team-oriented attitude.
  • Creative business strategy and the ability to align opportunities with current and future company objectives and products.
  • Problem-solving ability and a track record of developing new customers in untapped or underserved global markets.
  • A semi-technical background or exposure to modern UAS systems and innovation trends within defense markets is preferred.
  • Preferred military experience, specifically in Special Operations.
  • Baseline knowledge of the defense acquisition process and cycle is preferred.
  • Candidates are preferred to be located in the UK with an extensive international network.
  • US or EU-based applicants may be considered based on prior experience and established network.
  • Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United Kingdom is required.

Benefits

  • Salary range of £60,000 to £90,000.
