Description

  • Manage a team of approximately 7 QA engineers across 3+ product lines covering manual testing, automated testing, and release management.
  • Define and execute a risk-based quality engineering strategy aligned with continuous deployment and CI/CD practices.
  • Build, run, and maintain test automation using Unity3D (C#) and Playwright (TypeScript).
  • Evaluate, implement, and scale AI-driven testing platforms and LLM-assisted workflows to increase test automation coverage.
  • Partner with engineers to design test plans for complex, multi-platform features involving rich visual and geospatial data.
  • Perform end-to-end product testing across Windows, Android, XR, ATAK, and Linux environments.
  • Mentor QA engineers and QA leads on automation techniques, tooling development, and modern QA practices.
  • Help define and improve QA processes to ensure consistent, scalable testing across all platforms.

Requirements

  • 7-12 years of experience in software quality engineering, test automation, or software engineering.
  • 3+ years of experience leading and developing distributed QA teams across multiple products or technical domains.
  • Experience building, scaling, or maturing a Quality Engineering function, including strategy, processes, tooling, and quality standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Deep proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, with expert-level experience in frameworks like Playwright.
  • Strong understanding of Git workflows and CI/CD orchestration tools such as GitHub Actions.
  • Experience evaluating or deploying generative AI capabilities, agentic automation frameworks, or self-healing test tools.
  • Experience with Linux, OSX, and Windows command-line environments.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Preferred: experience in geospatial testing environments.
  • Preferred: exposure to ATAK, tactical mobile applications, or field-data workflows.
  • Preferred: experience with Android ADB tools, Android debugging, or instrumentation-based testing.
