Description

  • Oversee project and program contracts, scopes, budgets, and teams with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Lead multiple residential and commercial demand response and energy efficiency programs in California.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Track, drive, and deliver program outputs accurately and on time.
  • Create annual plans, manage program implementation, and deliver results against goals.
  • Oversee program performance, reporting, and forecasting for utility programs.
  • Coordinate internal and external teams on client deliverables and present to stakeholders as needed.
  • Manage client expectations, communications, issue resolution, and escalations.
  • Collaborate with internal functions such as IT, Marketing, Finance, HR, Advisory Services, software, marketplace, outreach, data analysis, and customer service.
  • Identify challenges, recommend improvements, and implement operational and go-to-market enhancements.
  • Facilitate change management and balance innovation with risk management.

Requirements

  • Must be located in California, ideally in Southern California or the Los Angeles area.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Energy, Environment, Engineering, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience with residential or commercial/industrial customer-focused utility programs.
  • Strong understanding of energy efficiency and demand response programs and measures.
  • Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience with Commercial & Industrial Demand Response programs preferred.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including development and implementation of scopes, budgets, forecasts, and plans.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while balancing schedules and budgets.
  • Excellent organizational, writing, verbal, communication, interpersonal, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint; familiarity with SharePoint, Asana, and Monday.com.
  • Experience collaborating on software product integration into service offerings.
  • Interest in sustainability and making a meaningful environmental impact.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to think critically in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of an organization and work well on a highly collaborative team.
  • Experience with strategic planning and customized solutions rather than one-size-fits-all products.

  • Base salary range of $100,000 to $140,000.
