Description

  • Track U.S. regulatory change across state programs, reporting cycles, rulemaking, guidance, and enforcement timelines, and translate it into actionable intelligence.
  • Serve as a trusted first point of contact for customer and prospect questions on EPR obligations, fees, reporting categories, exemptions, and deadlines.
  • Own the webinar and thought leadership program end to end, including topic planning, content development, live hosting, and follow-up Q&A.
  • Create regulatory education and enablement content such as briefs, updates, FAQs, explainers, one-pagers, blog posts, and gap assessments.
  • Equip sales, marketing, and customer success teams with accurate talking points and materials on EPR and packaging compliance.
  • Represent rePurpose Global in public-facing industry and producer education settings and stay close to regulatory and market developments.
  • Work closely with technical, product, and customer success teams to surface regulatory changes that affect packaging classification, fees, reporting, and the product roadmap.
  • Bring recurring customer questions and market insights back into the platform experience and compliance software.

Requirements

  • Background in EPR, packaging or environmental policy, sustainability, regulatory affairs, or a related field.
  • Experience with plastics and packaging policy, circular economy, waste management, or Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).
  • Working knowledge of how EPR programs operate, including governance, financing, PRO structures, and enforcement.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and track statutory and program text across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Ability to run scenario modeling to show producers how differing rules affect their portfolios.
  • Strong public speaking skills and comfort hosting webinars and live Q&A.
  • Strong writing skills for non-expert audiences and the ability to simplify complex rules without losing important detail.
  • Confidence engaging producers, prospects, regulators, and industry groups.
  • Ability to stay organized and credible in a fast-moving environment with incomplete guidance and compressed deadlines.
  • Self-directed experience owning a domain end to end in a remote, cross-functional team.
  • Preferred: brand- or producer-side experience navigating EPR obligations or packaging compliance.
  • Preferred: participation in advisory committees, working groups, trade associations, or industry coalitions.
  • Preferred: experience creating content or educational programming for a technical or regulatory audience.
  • Preferred: familiarity with recycled-content mandates, labeling laws, or other circular-economy rules intersecting with packaging EPR.
  • Preferred: direct exposure to eco-modulation fee models, design-for-recyclability guidelines, or state-level rulemaking comment periods.
