Description

  • Own the end-to-end recruiting process for Senior Loan Officer candidates, from initial outreach and screening through interview coordination, offers, and reference checks.
  • Serve as the primary contact and guide for candidates throughout the recruiting lifecycle to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to understand market priorities and resourcing needs, and translate those into hiring plans.
  • Build trusted relationships with hiring managers and stakeholders and coach them on hiring best practices.
  • Draft job specs, manage job postings on relevant sites (including LinkedIn), and own the job posting process for open roles.
  • Manage and maintain the talent pipeline and leverage recruitment data to inform hiring projections and decisions.
  • Maintain the ATS (Lever) and ensure timely, thoughtful candidate feedback and data integrity.
  • Actively source and engage candidates using RenoFi recruiting platforms and external channels.
  • Validate candidate mortgage production using data sources such as MMI and provide weekly updates to stakeholders on activities and pipeline.

Requirements

  • Significant experience recruiting loan officers and sales roles (preference given to candidates with this background).
  • Experience recruiting Senior Loan Officers who self-source leads and offer a full range of loan products.
  • Proficient with Google Suite and applicant tracking systems; familiarity with Lever preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and professionalism.
  • Comfortable receiving and acting on feedback and navigating ambiguity in an early-stage startup environment.
  • Experience working remotely; US or GMT-adjacent timezones will be prioritized.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with Retail Sales teams and report to senior leadership (this role reports to the EVP of National Production).
