Description

  • Contribute to infrastructure-as-code initiatives using CloudFormation and Terraform.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines.
  • Design, build, and maintain containerized applications.
  • Build and improve developer tooling to increase team productivity.
  • Work with event-driven systems such as Kafka or Kinesis.
  • Explore and integrate AI tooling into platform workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve infrastructure and platform needs.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation to address customer-facing incidents promptly.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines to help ensure timely release of high-quality software.

Requirements

  • 4 years of experience in software development.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience building or working with containerized applications.
  • Familiarity with data pipeline development and maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform.
  • Experience with developer tooling and automation.
  • Strong knowledge of a scripting language such as Python or shell.
  • Interest in or experience with event-driven systems such as Kafka, Kinesis, or similar.
  • Strong self-starter mentality with experience tackling open-ended challenges and ramping up quickly on new systems.
  • Comfort with uncertainty and ability to independently define approach, identify dependencies, and drive work to completion without detailed specifications.
  • BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, related field experience, or a combination of education and experience (preferred).
  • Experience with AI tooling and integration (preferred).
  • Interest or experience in functional programming languages such as Haskell, Scala, or Clojure (preferred).
  • Experience writing deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions (preferred).
  • Experience with logging and reporting systems such as Datadog or New Relic (preferred).
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills (preferred).
  • Growth mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies, tools, and platforms as needed (preferred).
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

  • Salary range of $82,200 to $102,000 USD.
