Description

  • Own and administer the BillingPlatform environment, including catalogs, price cards, usage-rating rules, and invoice schedules.
  • Manage platform health, system updates, pricing launches, bill-run troubleshooting, synchronization exceptions, and root-cause resolution.
  • Use SQL to validate data, audit rating-engine outputs, and produce operational reports.
  • Maintain API-driven integrations with Salesforce, NetSuite, Stripe, and other systems.
  • Partner with Accounting on revenue schedules, rating rules, and general-ledger mappings supporting ASC 606 and IFRS 15 compliance.
  • Translate requirements from Accounting, Finance, Sales Operations, and Product into sustainable billing configurations.
  • Maintain billing data integrity and manage subscription updates and migrations without disrupting financial operations.
  • Support new pricing models, usage-rating schemes, financial integrations, and long-term billing architecture improvements.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience configuring and administering enterprise Quote-to-Cash or billing platforms such as Zuora, Salesforce Revenue Cloud/CPQ, NetSuite Billing, Aria Systems, or BillingPlatform.
  • Strong SQL proficiency for billing-data queries, validation, and auditing.
  • Working knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, and ETL workflows.
  • Experience with complex SaaS or infrastructure pricing models, including PLG, hybrid commitment-plus-usage, tiered, and metered billing.
  • Practical understanding of revenue-recognition fundamentals under ASC 606 and IFRS 15.
  • Ability to communicate financial business logic across Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Sales Operations, and Product teams.
  • Methodical troubleshooting skills for synchronization errors, rating anomalies, and integration edge cases.
  • Experience with DigitalRoute or Kafka-based usage-data intake (preferred).
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure, PaaS, developer-platform metrics, or migrations from implementation partners (preferred).
  • Legal authorization to work in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, or the United States; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
