Description

  • Act as the subject matter expert for the assigned country’s payroll operations.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders across Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering.
  • Process end-to-end in-house payroll, including statutory filings, exceptions, approvals, payments, and compliance.
  • Ensure data integrity and payroll data quality.
  • Handle accounting and reconciliations related to payroll.
  • Track and improve performance against KPIs and SLAs.
  • Implement and continuously improve payroll processes.
  • Mentor and support payroll specialists.
  • Back up regional managers during periods of absence.

Requirements

  • Payroll management experience or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of payroll best practices.
  • Proficiency with SAP and spreadsheet tools such as Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, international, asynchronous environment.
  • A productivity-focused mindset with an interest in improving speed and efficiency.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Remote work experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to adapt to a global work environment and make an impact.
  • Experience with automation and AI in the workplace is expected as part of Remote’s role requirements.
