Description

  • Lead, coach, and mentor the Global Payroll Implementation team while fostering accountability and high performance.
  • Oversee the delivery of global payroll implementation projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and compliance standards are met.
  • Monitor KPIs and SLAs, identify risks early, and drive corrective actions when needed.
  • Support team leads and specialists with issue resolution, prioritization, and workload balancing across multiple projects.
  • Ensure smooth handoffs between Sales, Implementation, and Payroll Operations.
  • Standardize and continuously improve implementation processes, tools, and documentation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve workflows, automation, and system integrations.
  • Lead or support UAT, process validation, and change management for platform or procedural updates.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders on progress, risks, and performance metrics.
  • Represent the implementation function in internal initiatives and contribute to global payroll strategy.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience managing global or regional payroll implementations in a complex, high-growth environment.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end payroll processes, from onboarding to compliance handover.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and empower high-performing teams.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience driving process improvement and working with payroll systems such as SAP, Workday, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Analytical, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to solve operational challenges.
  • Comfort working asynchronously in a distributed, fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
  • Prior remote work experience is considered an advantage.
  • Strong automation and AI fluency is required.
  • Location preference for EMEA candidates.
  • Start date as soon as possible.
