Description

  • Partner with T&A, Payroll Operations, Product, and Implementation teams to embed country-specific labor law requirements into system design and configuration.
  • Build compliance reviews into project lifecycles, including requirements gathering, configuration validation, testing, and go-live readiness.
  • Work with country compliance and legal experts to interpret statutory obligations and translate them into system controls and operational requirements.
  • Serve as the central compliance point of contact for T&A-related initiatives across Compliance, Product, Payroll Operations, and Implementation teams.
  • Establish governance checkpoints and review processes that support regulatory alignment without slowing delivery.
  • Identify compliance gaps and control weaknesses, assess their impact, and recommend corrective actions or escalations.
  • Coordinate internal and external audit requests for Time & Attendance systems and processes.
  • Prepare complete, accurate, and defensible audit documentation and track remediation actions through closure.
  • Develop and maintain compliance documentation such as control narratives, process maps, risk registers, and change logs.
  • Ensure compliance impact assessments are included in system and process change management.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with global payroll Time & Attendance systems such as Workday Time Tracking, UKG, ADP, or Ceridian Dayforce across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong understanding of T&A compliance requirements, including working time directives, overtime calculations, rest period enforcement, accrual methodologies, and statutory record-keeping obligations.
  • Knowledge of how collective bargaining agreements affect T&A configuration and operational processing.
  • Ability to translate functional or legislative requirements into scalable system controls and operational rules.
  • Experience coordinating audit responses and preparing compliance documentation for regulatory or internal review.
  • Track record of identifying and mitigating compliance risks in multi-country environments.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience embedding compliance into agile or hybrid delivery frameworks.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority in a matrixed global organization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex regulatory requirements clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience creating structured documentation that can withstand audit and regulatory scrutiny.
  • Experience working in regulated environments where accuracy and defensible documentation are essential.
