Description

  • Lead the migration of the client’s web platform to a new environment.
  • Own and maintain the full codebase for the application.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Keep live applications running reliably and resolve deployment or infrastructure issues.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to build and improve solutions efficiently.
  • Work directly with a U.S.-based client and communicate progress clearly in English.
  • Support scalable, high-quality delivery while balancing speed and technical stability.
  • Handle DNS, environment configuration, and deployment pipeline-related tasks.
  • Contribute to ongoing application management after the migration is complete.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of real-world experience shipping and maintaining web applications.
  • Strong command of Node.js and working knowledge of Python.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and production application support.
  • Experience managing dev, staging, and production environments.
  • Understanding of DNS, environment configs, and deployment pipelines.
  • Strong English communication skills for direct interaction with a U.S.-based client.
  • DigitalOcean experience is a plus, but any major cloud platform is acceptable.
  • Experience with Docker or containerized environments is a bonus.
  • Prior experience migrating a live application between hosting platforms is a plus.
  • Exposure to Twilio, especially A2P messaging, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Replit or other AI-assisted coding tools is a plus.
  • Experience with OpenAI or Gemini API integrations is preferred.

Benefits

  • $2,800 USD monthly salary.
  • Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, during business hours.
  • 100% remote work environment.
  • Independent contractor contract.
  • Open only to candidates residing in LATAM countries.
