Description

  • Schedule new patient, routine, orthodontic, follow-up, same-day, and emergency appointments across all practice locations.
  • Handle inbound and outbound patient communications by phone, text, email, and online channels.
  • Confirm appointments, process reschedules and cancellations, and maintain accurate scheduling records.
  • Make recall and reminder calls to patients due for follow-up or overdue appointments.
  • Maintain full, optimized provider schedules across pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, and anesthesiology services.
  • Provide a warm, professional first point of contact for parents and guardians and answer questions about services, providers, and office logistics.
  • Process new patient registrations and collect demographic, medical, dental, and insurance information.
  • Coordinate referrals and support a smooth intake experience for new patients and families.
  • Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits, including coverage for common pediatric dental services, co-pays, deductibles, and limitations.
  • Maintain organized patient records, assist with data entry and file management, and support teledentistry scheduling and virtual consultation coordination.

Requirements

  • 1 or more years of experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare front office or receptionist role.
  • Warm, friendly, and patient communication style with a genuine interest in working with families and children.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage a high volume of appointments and communications.
  • Comfortable using dental or medical practice management software.
  • Able to work independently and stay focused in a remote environment during busy call periods.
  • Professional, reliable, and responsive with the ability to provide accurate information quickly.
  • Experience in a pediatric dental, orthodontics, or multi-specialty dental practice (preferred).
  • Dental insurance verification experience, including eligibility checks, benefit breakdowns, and payer portal navigation (preferred).
  • Familiarity with CareStack or a comparable dental practice management platform (preferred).
  • Spanish language proficiency is a significant advantage (preferred).
  • Experience in a multi-location dental or medical practice environment (preferred).
  • This is a full-time role.
  • Up to $6/hr compensation.
  • 100% remote work arrangement.
