Description

  • Define and implement data architectures across the company’s data ecosystem.
  • Design data models and standards to support consistent and reliable data use.
  • Establish and maintain data governance practices.
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across data systems.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Analysts on architecture and implementation work.
  • Work with international engineering, product, and design teams in a fully remote environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience designing and implementing data architectures such as data warehouses, data lakes, or lakehouses in complex environments.
  • Strong knowledge of database technologies, including SQL and NoSQL systems.
  • Experience with conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling techniques.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, with AWS preferred.
  • Familiarity with big data tools and frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, security, and compliance principles.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration tools.
  • Ability to design scalable, high-performance, and cost-efficient data solutions.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
