Description

  • Serve as an AWS Cloud infrastructure expert and help train others on cloud services and practices.
  • Automate pipeline deployments, tooling implementations, and infrastructure deployments.
  • Build automated processes to audit and monitor compliance with security standards.
  • Identify and remediate security violations in deployed systems and infrastructure.
  • Review and optimize application deployments for performance, scalability, and robustness.
  • Prototype and introduce new tools and practices for Remedy’s architecture offerings.
  • Promote DevOps best practices and a DevOps culture across software engineers in the organization.
  • Design reliable solutions that balance long-term robustness with pragmatic near-term rollouts.
  • Support internal teams deploying solutions and developing applications.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • 3+ years of experience working with core AWS services including IAM, S3, VPC, EC2, and ELB.
  • Strong understanding of containerization concepts, including Docker.
  • Previous software coding experience with Bash shell scripting.
  • Experience with managed Kubernetes clusters, especially AWS EKS.
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform.
  • Minimum B2 English proficiency level.
  • Desired: working knowledge of Datadog and Prometheus configuration and management.
  • Desired: proficiency with Git and Git workflows.
  • Desired: ability to configure CI/CD pipelines for cloud application deployments using tools such as CircleCI or GitHub Actions.
  • Desired: understanding of AWS big data tools and platforms such as EMR, Glue, Athena, and MSK.
  • Desired: general understanding of Argo Workflows.
