Description

  • Design and implement processes that simplify and improve the provider experience, measured through feedback surveys.
  • Identify and resolve pain points across the provider journey while ensuring compliance with local regulations in each market.
  • Strengthen provider onboarding and ongoing engagement so providers understand expectations and can deliver high-quality care from the start.
  • Use data and analytics to track provider network performance, identify risks and improvement opportunities, and manage performance dashboards with clear targets.
  • Coach and develop the provider acquisition and relationship management team using performance data to raise standards of quality, compliance, and responsiveness.
  • Create and implement strategies to enhance member experience at provider sites, including reducing wait times and improving quality of care.
  • Design incentive programs that reward providers for timely, high-quality service and consistent performance.
  • Collaborate with Claims, Tariffs, Case Management, and other internal teams to align provider-facing processes for efficient claims handling, cost control, and quality care.
  • Manage escalations by coordinating across teams to solve immediate issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the provider relations team to achieve results across multiple markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, pharmacy, public health, business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, provider relations, health insurance, or hospital/clinic administration (or transferable experience from supply chain, partnerships management, customer success, or network management).
  • Demonstrated success managing external partnerships or networks, including onboarding, contracting, and relationship management.
  • Proven leadership experience with ability to manage, coach, and develop teams to meet clinical quality and member satisfaction targets.
  • Experience using data and analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive improvements; experience managing dashboards and KPIs.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Authorization to work in Nigeria, Senegal, or Côte d’Ivoire and working knowledge of local business or healthcare regulations.
  • Primary location Lagos, Nigeria, with required travel to Dakar and other markets.
  • Nice to have: direct experience in health insurance or hospital/clinic administration, familiarity with digital health platforms, bilingual French and English, experience managing quality improvement or customer satisfaction programs, and knowledge of health financing models including provider reimbursement.
