Description

  • Write clear, accurate, engaging content for website pages, blog articles, patient stories, and PR pieces.
  • Research topics thoroughly from content briefs to ensure content is well-sourced, trustworthy, and accurate.
  • Apply on-page SEO best practices, including search intent, headings, metadata, internal linking, and target keywords.
  • Write consistently in Releaf’s tone of voice while adapting style to different channels.
  • Produce content that demonstrates E-E-A-T by citing reputable sources and reflecting current guidance.
  • Self-edit work for clarity, grammar, and editorial quality, and incorporate feedback from the Head of Content.
  • Ensure all content meets the regulatory and compliance requirements of the sector.
  • Update and improve existing content to maintain accuracy and search performance over time.
  • Write with modern search and AI tools in mind so content can be surfaced and cited effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Content and wider team to plan, write, and publish content.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience writing SEO content in-house, at an agency, or freelance.
  • Native-level written English with excellent grammar and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience writing in healthcare, lifestyle, wellness, or another regulated, high-trust subject area.
  • Ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines without close supervision.
  • Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, or Google Search Console (desirable).
  • Experience with a CMS such as DATO or Sanity (desirable).
  • Awareness of how AI search and LLMs are changing information discovery (desirable).
  • Understanding of content compliance in a regulated sector (desirable).
  • Solid understanding of on-page SEO and search intent (desirable).
