Description

  • Build and manage AWS GovCloud environments using AWS CDK in TypeScript.
  • Enforce compliance controls from the start of infrastructure development using cdk-nag and NIST packs.
  • Manage networking, compute, data stores, and secrets for the platform.
  • Architect and optimize GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows with affected-only builds, remote caching, merge queues, and test sharding.
  • Maintain low-latency pull request gates and improve feedback loops for the engineering team.
  • Implement compliance-as-code pipeline gates that map to NIST controls.
  • Automate generation of security authorization evidence and support signed artifact and provenance workflows.
  • Implement Zero Trust capabilities including CAC/ICAM-integrated identity, mTLS, policy-as-code authorization, and continuous posture monitoring.
  • Translate infrastructure problems into precise specifications for AI agents and review merged code to production standards.
  • Debug issues across the stack, from application code to database schemas, and support application engineers with build and workflow improvements.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible for a U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • 7+ years of experience building and operating production cloud platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with agentic AI development tools such as Codex, Claude Code, or equivalent on production codebases.
  • Deep fluency in TypeScript and AWS CDK.
  • Strong software engineering experience with Node.js and PostgreSQL/Prisma.
  • Experience with container orchestration technologies such as EKS or ECS.
  • Proven experience operating cloud infrastructure in DoD IL4 or similar high-security environments.
  • Preferred experience with STIG-based hardening of containers or operating system images.
  • Preferred background in developer experience or build-performance optimization.
  • Preferred experience integrating modern infrastructure with legacy systems such as Oracle 19c or PL/SQL.
  • Preferred familiarity with Temporal workflows for long-running processes.
