Description

  • Decompose complex problems into precise specifications that AI agents can implement and review their output rigorously.
  • Build and maintain full-stack vertical slices of capability across React frontends, Node services, Prisma schemas, and AWS infrastructure.
  • Own the user experience for complex, policy-driven workflows and make multi-step wizards and data-dense interfaces intuitive.
  • Develop and maintain a React/TypeScript component library with accessibility and plain-language labeling built in.
  • Apply Test-Driven Development, automated CI scans, and Playwright end-to-end testing to maintain production quality.
  • Ship small, reviewable changes continuously in an always-green main-branch workflow.
  • Share knowledge through documentation, demos, and pairing to improve the team’s engineering harness and AI rules.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • 7+ years of experience building production web systems.
  • Proficiency in TypeScript, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
  • Hands-on experience using AI development tools such as Codex, Claude Code, or equivalent on real-world codebases.
  • Strong understanding of AWS cloud infrastructure, GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines, and security fundamentals.
  • Expertise in WCAG/508 compliance and testing with assistive technologies is preferred.
  • Experience with document generation such as PDF rendering and complex form or wizard architectures is preferred.
  • Prior experience migrating legacy fat-client applications to web platforms is preferred.
  • Experience working in government or highly regulated technical environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AWS CDK in TypeScript and container orchestration tools such as EKS or ECS is preferred.
