Description

  • Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software products, including automation and manual testing.
  • Execute tests, analyze results, and report defects, issues, and errors to engineering and product teams.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software products and recommend improvements.
  • Review and validate software requirements, specifications, and documentation, and provide feedback.
  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure software quality and functionality throughout the development life cycle.
  • Coordinate with product management and product ownership to align on product vision, scope, and features.
  • Build and maintain automated and manual test scripts using tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber.
  • Benchmark and measure site performance using load testing, response time, throughput, and other metrics.
  • Stay updated on the latest testing tools, technologies, and best practices and apply them to the testing process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a QA Engineer, Software Tester, or similar role in the software industry.
  • Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber.
  • Experience with testing methodologies including automation, manual, functional, performance, and regression testing.
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle, Agile methodologies, and quality assurance principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#, and scripting languages such as SQL, HTML, or CSS.
  • Knowledge of software quality metrics such as defect density, defect severity, and test coverage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills in English for working with foreign counterparts.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines and learn new tools and technologies quickly.
  • Experience with RelicX is advantageous.
  • Experience leading a team or mentoring junior members is advantageous.
  • Experience in the aviation industry is advantageous.
  • International certifications relevant to the role are advantageous.
