Description

  • Implement SEO strategies across multiple brands and align keyword intent with business goals.
  • Manage SEO work independently for 5–10 clients and switch between brands throughout the day.
  • Conduct advanced technical SEO audits and identify crawlability, site speed, and other performance issues.
  • Develop and execute backlink acquisition strategies, including identifying high-quality link opportunities and monitoring backlink profiles.
  • Disavow toxic links when necessary and maintain backlink quality.
  • Collaborate with copywriters to plan content, create briefs, and write or edit content when needed.
  • Track and analyse SEO performance using Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and GA4.
  • Analyse organic traffic trends, keyword rankings, and search visibility, then report insights and opportunities.
  • Run A/B tests and experiments to improve SEO outcomes.
  • Work across web development, UX, and content teams to ensure SEO best practices are applied.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of SEO experience.
  • Contract availability for a 6–12 month role.
  • Agency experience preferred; in-house candidates must have managed multiple brands or websites at the same time.
  • Strong experience in link building and backlink acquisition.
  • Advanced technical SEO experience.
  • Experience working on lead generation websites focused on high-intent keywords.
  • Experience managing 5–10 clients or multiple brands simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and GA4.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret SEO data, search rankings, and traffic performance.
  • Experience working in Gaming, Sports Betting, or Casino industries is advantageous.
  • Experience in content writing is a lower-priority but useful qualification.
  • Clear, confident communication and the ability to work effectively in a remote setup aligned with Australian business hours.
