Description

  • Oversee overall SEO strategy on client accounts and align internal teams on priorities.
  • Measure the impact of SEO strategy using rankings, traffic, conversions, leads, revenue, and lifetime value.
  • Communicate SEO findings, problems, and solutions to client stakeholders, including C-level executives.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through empathy, transparency, and consistent communication.
  • Support divisional revenue growth through client retention, upsells, and cross-sells when appropriate.
  • Troubleshoot advanced SEO issues and coach mid-level SEO team members.
  • Identify client issues and opportunities and coordinate action with Account Managers and Client Engagement.
  • Lead renewals and upsells for non-Client Engagement clients.
  • Review profitability updates and adjust priorities based on hour trends and client needs.
  • Partner with Project Management on resourcing, staffing needs, and skill requirements.

Requirements

  • Hands-on SEO agency experience across Content Strategy, Enterprise SEO, PR, Paid Media, and/or Analytics.
  • Ability to build integrated strategies and measure performance using data.
  • Advanced understanding of data visualization tools, including filters, storytelling with data, and joining data/relationships.
  • Strong client management skills with comfort presenting to C-level executives.
  • Strong coaching ability and the ability to help team members grow on accounts and adapt to channel strategy changes.
  • Ability to distill complex channel issues, trends, and performance into clear explanations for teams and clients.
  • Ability to work remotely from the US during continental US business hours.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage audience research tactics to tell compelling stories to executives.
  • Comfort working in a fast-changing environment with continued learning, innovation, and change management.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve workflow efficiency and share learnings with the team.
