Description

  • Build production-grade RAG pipelines across structured relational data and unstructured files such as Word, PDF, and email.
  • Develop indexing and retrieval workflows using OCR, element extraction, summaries, embeddings, and named entity recognition.
  • Design and optimize advanced retrieval approaches including multi-stage retrieval, query rewriting, hybrid search, and reranking.
  • Develop generative AI systems with a strong understanding of LLM behavior, model controls, and structured outputs.
  • Create and refine prompt engineering approaches, including prompt structuring, instruction ordering, and system/user separation.
  • Manage prompt versions, run testing and iteration cycles, and track evaluation results using tools such as Agenta or similar.
  • Implement evaluation and observability workflows using metrics such as Recall, Accuracy, F1, and MRR, and tracing tools like Langfuse or OpenTelemetry.
  • Design reliable agentic workflows and tool-calling strategies with appropriate tool scoping, prioritization, and contextual narrowing.
  • Incorporate memory, state handling, context persistence, workflow continuity, and Human-in-the-Loop patterns where needed.
  • Contribute to AI features for legal professionals, including chat, workflow orchestration, email classification, attachment handling, and document assistance in Outlook and Word.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an AI Engineer.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience with C#/.NET.
  • Proven experience building production-grade RAG pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of generative AI systems and underlying model behavior.
  • Experience with prompt management, evaluation, and observability.
  • Familiarity with agentic workflows and tool calling.
  • Experience with C# Semantic Kernel and Semantic Memory, or comparable AI orchestration stacks such as LangChain/LangGraph.
  • Experience with supporting infrastructure such as RabbitMQ, MinIO, and Qdrant.
  • Experience working with self-hosted or open-weight LLMs.
  • Experience with inference infrastructure and deployment, including vLLM, Linux-based environments, and Dockerized applications.
  • Experience with multimodal AI, including OCR and audio.
  • High degree of autonomy and ownership.
  • Curiosity and awareness of the latest developments in AI.
  • Excellent English communication skills and ability to communicate with foreign counterparts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (advantageous).
  • Experience with GraphRAG (nice to have).
  • Experience with model fine-tuning (nice to have).
  • Domain experience in legal tech or other knowledge-heavy domains (nice to have).
