Description

  • Define the data architecture and modeling strategy for the Regulatory domain to ensure scalability, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
  • Design end-to-end domain data solutions, including transformation layers, curated datasets, and consumption models.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Data Engineers and Analytics Engineers.
  • Align solutions with company-wide data platform standards and collaborate closely with the Data Platform team.
  • Design and implement scalable data models using PySpark and advanced SQL.
  • Build and maintain data transformation pipelines and curated datasets for regulatory reporting and analytics.
  • Develop batch and streaming pipelines using Spark, Airflow, Kafka, and Databricks.
  • Lead complex data initiatives and drive technical design and delivery across teams.
  • Produce technical specifications and architecture documentation for data solutions.
  • Break down complex problems into incremental deliveries, prioritizing MVPs and quick wins with a clear roadmap.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and compliance stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions.
  • Implement best practices for modularization, testing, CI/CD, version control, observability, and data quality.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Data Engineering and Data Architecture in cloud environments, especially AWS.
  • Strong expertise in data modeling, PySpark, and advanced SQL.
  • Experience building batch and streaming data pipelines with Spark, Airflow, Kafka, and Databricks.
  • Experience with data lakehouse architectures such as Delta Lake, Redshift, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and regulatory data requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with centralized Data Platform teams in shared infrastructure environments.
  • Strong technical leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments and delivering both MVPs and scalable long-term solutions.
