Description

  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve the company’s 3- and 5-year financial model in Excel.
  • Explain, defend, and update key model assumptions across revenue, costs, credit/lending dynamics, regulatory capital, and cash flow.
  • Develop scenarios, sensitivities, and stress tests to support strategic and investment decisions.
  • Keep the model aligned with actuals, board-approved budgets, and evolving business strategy.
  • Prepare the financial model and supporting schedules for investors, including VCs and growth equity funds.
  • Own the preparation and quality control of responses to due diligence questions during capital raise processes.
  • Help structure, populate, and maintain the virtual data room so it remains organized and investor-ready.
  • Support coordination of investor calls, management presentations, and related materials.
  • Reconcile the model with actual results and board/IR reporting in partnership with Finance teams.
  • Translate model outputs into clear insights for leadership and flag risks or inconsistencies between plan and actuals.
  • Gather, validate, and incorporate inputs from business unit leaders, senior management, and Finance teams across the company.

Requirements

  • Experience working with multiple data sources and data teams to keep inputs current and accurate.
  • Experience using AI tools and automation to speed up modeling, scenario building, Q&A drafting, and VDR organization.
  • Fluency in Portuguese is required.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Spanish is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to communicate at a working or executive level in a trilingual environment is highly valued.
  • Strong analytical rigor and precision with numbers and financial models.
  • Ability to explain complex financial logic clearly and confidently to senior external audiences.
  • Ownership, autonomy, and accountability.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and tight capital-raise deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills across business units and Finance teams.
  • Comfort with collaboration across teams and geographies.
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities between model maintenance and fundraising sprints.
  • Curiosity and continuous learning, especially with new tools and AI.
