Description

  • Serve as a senior strategic partner to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients.
  • Lead complex engagements across scientific visualization, medical education, congress strategy, digital experiences, and innovation initiatives.
  • Anticipate client needs, identify solutions, and drive long-term account growth.
  • Develop and execute account growth strategies and expand existing client relationships.
  • Lead new business opportunities, pitches, proposals, and SOW development.
  • Own account performance, forecasting, profitability, resource planning, budgets, and scope changes.
  • Build and scale leadership capabilities through coaching, succession planning, performance management, and career development.
  • Collaborate across scientific strategy, creative, medical, experience design, project management, finance, and operations teams.
  • Champion innovative approaches, emerging technologies, and AI-enabled ways of working.
  • Serve as an internal and external ambassador for the Scientific Visualization practice.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience for AVP or 12+ years for VP in healthcare communications, medical education, scientific communications, scientific visualization, healthcare marketing, or related agency environments.
  • Demonstrated success leading and growing pharmaceutical and biotechnology client relationships.
  • Experience managing large accounts, complex programs, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong business development skills with a track record of organic growth and new business wins.
  • Familiarity with scientific visualization, medical communications, medical affairs, congress strategy, and digital engagement programs.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work hybrid or remotely within the US, or remotely in Canada, with eastern US hours required.
  • Experience in a collaborative, matrixed, and fast-paced agency environment is preferred.
  • Comfort with innovation, AI, and evolving technologies is preferred.
