Description

  • Own the iOS subscription and payments stack, including product configuration, purchase and restore flows, entitlements, offers, and paywall surfaces.
  • Architect and maintain StoreKit 2 integrations, handling interrupted and deferred purchases, upgrades, downgrades, crossgrades, refunds, revocations, billing retries, and price-increase consent.
  • Partner with the server team on signed transaction verification, entitlement reconciliation, and idempotent event handling.
  • Collaborate with product, design, and data teams on pricing, offers, paywall experiments, and revenue-focused launches.
  • Contribute to iOS architecture, system design, performance, testing practices, and technical-debt management.
  • Monitor and resolve member payment issues while maintaining strong release and operational discipline.
  • Raise engineering standards through code reviews, technical mentorship, and written specifications.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional iOS development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Swift, UIKit, MVVM, and reactive programming.
  • Built and operated native StoreKit 2 integrations end to end in production at least twice.
  • Hands-on experience with StoreKit 2 product configuration, transactions, entitlements, subscription status, offers, offer codes, and sandbox-to-production testing.
  • Production Stripe Payments/Subscriptions experience for a B2C product.
  • Experience collaborating on App Store Server Notifications V2, signed transaction verification, reconciliation, and idempotent event handling.
  • Track record of shipping consumer mobile applications at scale, with strong architecture, performance, and user-experience judgment.
  • Ability to lead projects from concept through launch and own post-launch outcomes.
  • AI-forward mindset and interest in applying emerging technologies.
  • Preferred: StoreKit 1-to-StoreKit 2 migration, dual-payment-processor subscriptions, SwiftUI, modular iOS architecture, paywall experimentation, or subscription analytics experience.
