Description

  • Build and evolve user-facing iOS experiences for discovering, consuming, creating, and engaging with content and communities.
  • Lead projects through product definition, technical design, implementation, experimentation, launch, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with product, design, data science, ML, backend, and platform teams to deliver measurable user impact.
  • Improve iOS architecture, performance, reliability, accessibility, developer workflows, and engineering standards.
  • Mentor teammates and lead cross-functional technical initiatives.
  • Design scalable mobile features spanning APIs and user-facing interfaces.
  • Use experimentation, feature flags, instrumentation, analytics, and product or quality-of-experience metrics to guide improvements.

Requirements

  • Professional experience developing native iOS applications with Swift.
  • Strong understanding of iOS frameworks and application architecture.
  • Ability to write idiomatic, readable, reusable, and testable code.
  • Strong debugging, performance optimization, reliability, and maintainability skills.
  • Experience designing mobile systems, evaluating architectural tradeoffs, and building scalable features.
  • Experience building and shipping consumer-facing native applications at scale.
  • Strategic, product-minded approach with the ability to connect technical decisions to user and business outcomes.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills, including stakeholder influence and alignment-building.
  • Experience with experimentation, feature flags, instrumentation, analytics, and product or quality-of-experience metrics.
  • Familiarity with AVFoundation, VideoToolbox, HLS, media playback, recommendation systems, accessibility, or ML-integrated products is preferred.

  • Base salary range of $164,000–$229,000 USD.
