Description

  • Drive end-to-end security hygiene by identifying vulnerabilities and misconfigurations and implementing durable fixes across the platform.
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps and Engineering teams to embed security best practices into everyday workflows.
  • Triage, prioritize, and close out security findings from scanners and cloud security tools.
  • Maintain awareness of evolving cloud security threats, tooling, and best practices.
  • Expand and maintain security checks and guardrails in CI/CD pipelines and the broader software delivery lifecycle.
  • Work across AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, CDN/WAF, and related technologies used in the product development lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes/EKS.
  • Solid foundation in security fundamentals, including vulnerability management, IAM, network security, and cloud security posture management.
  • Experience triaging and remediating security findings from vulnerability scanners or cloud security tools.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating security practices into the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong communication skills for working with DevOps and Security stakeholders and translating technical risk into clear priorities.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code such as Terraform or OpenTofu, compliance frameworks, or container security tooling.
  • Ability to navigate cloud infrastructure and container environments from day one.
  • Preferred traits include being a bridge between DevOps and Security, impact-driven, growth-oriented, ownership-minded, productivity-focused, and biased toward shipping and iteration.
