Description

  • Independently identify high-leverage opportunities where AI can accelerate, simplify, or reduce costs across RapidSOS operations.
  • Design, build, and deploy AI-powered tools, agents, and automations end to end.
  • Work across engineering, sales, customer success, product, and operations to understand workflows and uncover AI opportunities.
  • Evaluate and adopt AI coding agents and agentic frameworks to maximize development speed and output.
  • Own each initiative from discovery and hypothesis development through prototype, production, and impact measurement.
  • Define the roadmap by bringing a founder’s perspective rather than executing a prescribed plan.
  • Ship improvements on a daily or weekly cadence and deliver meaningful impact quickly.

Requirements

  • Senior-level engineering ability to move from idea to deployed production system quickly and independently.
  • Experience working across the stack.
  • AI-native mindset with daily use of coding agents, LLM APIs, and agentic frameworks.
  • High agency with the ability to form and test hypotheses independently.
  • Strong operational curiosity and interest in how businesses work.
  • Startup experience, including founding, co-founding, joining, or actively planning to join an early-stage company.
  • Ability to ship working software frequently while maintaining quality.
  • Clear communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Prior experience building internal tooling or operational automation at scale (preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with LLM orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or equivalent (preferred).
  • Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, with AWS preferred.
  • Experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS company (preferred).
  • Background in or interest in public safety, emergency response, or mission-driven technology (preferred).
