Description

  • Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT processes for data collection, transformation, and loading.
  • Design and implement robust data pipelines for both real-time and batch processing.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability for analytical and operational systems.
  • Optimize query performance and database architecture.
  • Automate deployment and monitoring of data infrastructure components.
  • Work closely with analytics, development, and business teams to deliver data-driven solutions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in data engineering.
  • Commercial experience with Python and Groovy.
  • Deep knowledge of Apache NiFi and experience building and administering complex data flows.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, including architecture understanding, query optimization, and schema design.
  • Experience with Apache Kafka and building real-time data pipelines.
  • Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow organization, monitoring, and automation (preferred).
  • Experience with Apache Spark for distributed big data processing (preferred).
  • Experience with AWS Athena and Amazon S3 for interactive query services (preferred).
  • Experience with Apache Iceberg and modern table formats for data lakes (preferred).
  • Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and service orchestration (preferred).
