Description

  • Build DevSecOps platforms used by mission application owners.
  • Create and update Kubernetes clusters using Terraform.
  • Deploy applications to Kubernetes clusters by writing and modifying Helm charts.
  • Work with multiple Kubernetes distributions, including RKE2, EKS, OpenShift, and VMware Tanzu.
  • Develop and maintain automation using Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices.
  • Self-learn and work with custom Kubernetes operators and CRDs as needed.
  • Ensure platforms and pipelines comply with DoD cybersecurity policies, including NIST 800-53, RMF, and STIGs.
  • Partner with the cybersecurity team on system hardening and configuration management.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Experience with Kubernetes distributions such as RKE2, EKS, OpenShift, or VMware Tanzu.
  • 3+ years of experience with Terraform.
  • Experience with Docker or other container technologies.
  • Experience with Helm.
  • Background supporting defense customers is highly preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and Secret eligible.
  • Remote role.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with custom operators and CRDs in Kubernetes is a plus.
