Description

  • Provide technical leadership within software teams as a mentor, team lead, trusted client-facing technologist, or hands-on contributor.
  • Contribute to all phases of projects and the software development lifecycle.
  • Apply existing technical depth to maximize project impact.
  • Expand into adjacent technologies and domains to broaden impact.
  • Present solutions to clients and Qvest team members.
  • Influence the technologies and solutions used on future projects.
  • Identify, experiment with, and evaluate new AI/ML approaches, tools, and platforms for practical use in projects.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of software development experience, including working on teams.
  • Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or XP.
  • Experience with ML/Applied AI tools and patterns including LLMs, MLOps, and RAG.
  • Experience using models such as OpenAI, ChatGPT, Claude, Amazon Bedrock, or LLaMA, with the ability to balance cost and functionality by use case.
  • Experience developing copilots and RAG applications.
  • Experience with enterprise environments, including APIs, systems, and communicating with client leadership.
  • Experience with vector databases, embeddings, and graph databases.
  • Experience defining and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with SOA, microservices, or similar architectural patterns.
  • Experience with enterprise application integration, including integration architecture, data flows, interfaces, and async/synchronous mechanisms.
  • Experience with authentication and authorization methods and products.
  • Experience managing data architecture, including persistence selection, schema design, constraints, transaction boundaries, and read/write trade-offs.
  • Ability to balance feature development and technical debt while maintaining quality over time.
