Description

  • Lead the evolution of the creation suite from MVP to a flagship QuillBot product by driving the roadmap, success metrics, and user experience.
  • Own the end-to-end user journey for visual creation from ideation through layout and export.
  • Partner with engineers, designers, marketing, brand, SEO, and researchers to turn text and ideas into adaptive multimodal outputs.
  • Define and validate workflows, templates, and design systems that help non-designers create effectively.
  • Collaborate with the Writing and Chat product teams to ensure seamless handoffs between idea, draft, and design.
  • Use data, research, and product intuition to balance user delight, technical feasibility, and business impact.
  • Lead a cross-functional pod toward measurable outcomes such as traffic, engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking and assess current MVP performance and user pain points.
  • Establish analytics and feedback loops to measure product success and guide iteration.
  • Launch new workflows or features that improve creation speed, output quality, and long-term multimodal creation strategy.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of product management experience, including at least 2 years building or growing creation or design-centric products.
  • Track record of taking consumer-facing tools from 0→1 or 1→N, ideally in the creative or productivity space.
  • Experience with AI-assisted or automation-heavy workflows such as text-to-image, auto-layout, or generative creation is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of UX for creative tools and empathy for non-technical users.
  • Strong design sensibility with understanding of layout, visual hierarchy, and effortless creation experiences.
  • Data-driven mindset with comfort using analytics to inform decisions and measure success.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across design, engineering, marketing, and leadership.
  • Experience or interest in multimodal, brand-aware creation is a plus.
  • Able to work in India; the role is eligible for hire in India.
  • Remote-first or virtual-first working comfort is relevant, with hybrid and remote flexibility offered.
