Description

  • Define and own the company’s organic growth strategy across SEO, ASO, GEO, and extension store optimization.
  • Set quarterly and annual OKRs tied to impressions, clicks, MAU, installs, and sales.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop the SEO and Organic Growth team, including hiring to fill capability gaps.
  • Build, prioritize, and maintain the organic growth roadmap and present progress to senior leadership.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Content, Brand, Marketing Operations, and International teams to embed organic growth into launches and strategy.
  • Own end-to-end SEO performance across web properties, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Lead technical SEO audits and collaborate with Engineering to resolve crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, site speed, structured data, and mobile issues.
  • Oversee keyword research, content gap analysis, on-page optimization, link building, and digital PR.
  • Develop and execute GEO strategies to increase visibility in AI-generated answers and citations, and define GEO measurement frameworks.
  • Own discoverability and conversion optimization for app stores and extension stores, including listings, testing, ratings, reviews, and localization.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in SEO and/or organic growth, including at least 3 years in a people-management role.
  • Experience driving organic growth across multiple global markets, regions, and languages.
  • Experience managing organic growth for a high-traffic website with 20M+ monthly active users and a consumer app with significant install volume.
  • Track record of securing and defending #1 rankings for competitive keywords.
  • Proven ability to build organic visibility from zero for new product launches in highly competitive markets.
  • Deep expertise in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO and how search engines crawl, index, and rank content.
  • Hands-on ASO experience for iOS and/or Android, including keyword optimization, listing experiments, and review management.
  • Strong understanding of generative AI search and emerging GEO best practices.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and at least one ASO platform, preferably Sensor Tower.
  • Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress and basic HTML/CSS.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present data-driven strategies to senior leadership and C-level stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Preferred: experience at a SaaS, EdTech, or consumer-tech company with a freemium or subscription model.
  • Preferred: experience with multilingual and multi-regional SEO and ASO strategies.
  • Preferred: familiarity with structured data, schema markup, and Knowledge Graph optimization.
  • Preferred: experience with programmatic SEO or large-scale page generation.
  • Preferred: experience optimizing browser extension listings in the Chrome Web Store or similar platforms.
  • Preferred: background in conversion rate optimization for organic landing pages and store listings.
  • Preferred: comfort working across time zones in a fully remote, globally distributed team.
