Description

  • Define and own the organic growth strategy across SEO, ASO, GEO, and extension store optimization.
  • Set quarterly and annual OKRs tied to impressions, clicks, MAU, installs, and sales.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the SEO and Organic Growth team, including hiring to fill capability gaps.
  • Build and maintain a prioritized roadmap that balances quick wins with long-term strategic bets.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Content, Brand, Marketing Operations, and International teams to embed organic growth into launches and planning.
  • Own end-to-end SEO performance across QuillBot’s web properties, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Lead technical SEO audits and work with Engineering to improve crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, site speed, structured data, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Oversee keyword research, content gap analysis, on-page optimization, and link-building/digital PR efforts.
  • Develop and execute GEO strategies to improve visibility and citations in AI-generated answers and generative search experiences.
  • Own app store optimization for the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, including listing optimization, experimentation, and review strategy.
  • Own extension-store discoverability and conversion across Chrome Web Store, Safari Extensions Gallery, Microsoft Edge Add-ons, and Firefox Add-ons.
  • Build dashboards, reports, and executive updates to track performance and communicate insights to leadership.

Requirements

  • 8–10 years of progressive experience in SEO and/or organic growth.
  • At least 3 years of people-management experience.
  • Experience driving organic growth across multiple markets, regions, and languages.
  • Demonstrated success managing organic growth for a high-traffic website with 20M+ monthly active users and a consumer app with significant install volume.
  • Proven track record of securing and defending #1 rankings for competitive keywords.
  • Proven ability to launch organic visibility from zero in highly competitive markets.
  • Deep expertise in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Hands-on ASO experience for iOS and/or Android, including keyword optimization, listing experiments, and review management.
  • Strong understanding of generative AI search and emerging GEO best practices.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and at least one ASO platform, preferably Sensor Tower.
  • Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress and basic HTML/CSS.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior and C-level stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience in SaaS, EdTech, or consumer tech with a freemium or subscription model is preferred.
  • Experience with multilingual and multi-regional SEO and ASO strategies is preferred.
  • Familiarity with structured data, schema markup, and Knowledge Graph optimization is preferred.
  • Experience with programmatic SEO or large-scale page generation is preferred.
  • Experience optimizing browser extension listings is preferred.
  • Background in conversion rate optimization for organic landing pages and store listings is preferred.
  • Comfort working across time zones in a fully remote, globally distributed team is preferred.
