Description

  • Develop AI SEO strategy for platforms such as ChatGPT, Google SGE, Gemini, and Perplexity.
  • Conduct keyword and intent research for both traditional and AI-driven search behavior.
  • Structure and optimize service pages to clearly explain what the business does, who it serves, and where it operates.
  • Create and optimize location-specific landing pages for local and AI search visibility.
  • Optimize content for semantic search and AI discoverability.
  • Perform competitor analysis across Google rankings and AI-generated search responses.
  • Manage local citations and directory listings.
  • Conduct technical SEO audits and recommend improvements for crawlability, indexing, and AI readability.
  • Support backlink outreach and other authority-building initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on brand and service visibility, rankings, traffic, and overall SEO performance.
  • Collaborate with and direct implementation team members on SEO and AI SEO action items.
  • Identify opportunities to improve structured data, schema markup, and content organization for AI-generated responses.

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience in SEO, not just basic VA tasks or content uploading.
  • Strong understanding of local SEO, especially Google Business Profile and map pack ranking factors.
  • Ability to do keyword research and build a clear keyword strategy, not just make suggestions.
  • Experience with AI search optimization for platforms like ChatGPT, Google SGE, Gemini, and Perplexity.
  • Experience with on-page SEO implementation and optimization frameworks, including titles, headers, internal linking, and content structure.
  • Ability to conduct competitor analysis and translate insights into action steps.
  • Experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, or SEMrush.
  • Understanding of how backlinks work and how to build outreach strategies without spam links.
  • Ability to create clear direction for an implementer without micromanaging execution.
  • Strong analytical thinking and comfort owning performance outcomes.
  • Experience with Canva, Gamma, and GSuite.
