Description

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems using .NET.
  • Simplify and refactor a mature, feature-rich codebase to improve structure, clarity, and maintainability.
  • Develop clean, consistent, consumer-friendly REST APIs.
  • Design modular and well-bounded system components.
  • Build and enhance configuration-driven platform capabilities.
  • Optimize database performance through query tuning, execution plan analysis, and indexing.
  • Ensure system reliability through logging, failure handling, and data integrity practices.
  • Collaborate closely with frontend, mobile, and QA teams.
  • Contribute to system design and backend architecture as the platform evolves toward cloud scale.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with .NET, including .NET Core and/or .NET Framework.
  • Solid experience with Entity Framework and SQL Server.
  • Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and debugging performance issues.
  • Proven experience building and designing REST APIs.
  • Strong systems thinking and ability to design modular, scalable architectures.
  • Experience working with production systems and maintaining long-term code quality.
  • Experience refactoring complex or legacy systems is preferred.
  • Experience building configuration-driven or extensible platforms is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AWS or cloud-based architectures is preferred.
  • Experience deploying applications on IIS is preferred.
  • Exposure to large-scale enterprise systems is preferred.
