Description

  • Follow agile methodologies and participate in scrum meetings and software quality audits throughout the SDLC.
  • Create tests and own testing for large modules, components, and feature areas.
  • Analyze project design documents and business requirement documents to define testing needs.
  • Develop scalable test automation frameworks and scripts using Python, Pytest, BDD frameworks, and PyCharm.
  • Execute integration, regression, and performance testing using industry-standard tools.
  • Research and evaluate new or alternative automated testing tools.
  • Maintain test suites and automation results in TestRail or an equivalent test management tool.
  • Analyze test failures and drive quality initiatives across teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to lead detailed software quality discussions.
  • Design end-to-end test scenarios and mentor other quality engineers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with data platforms, machine learning, and APIs.
  • Experience integrating testing artifacts with a CI/CD pipeline.
  • P&C insurance domain knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Linux, databases/SQL/PostgreSQL, and shell scripting (preferred).
  • Knowledge of AWS, DevOps, and AI (preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving ability and the ability to articulate technical topics clearly.
  • A desire to automate manual testing and reduce testing time.
