Description

  • Follow agile methodologies and participate in scrum meetings and software quality audits across the SDLC.
  • Create tests for large modules, components, feature designs, and feature areas.
  • Analyze project design documents and business requirement documents to understand requirements.
  • Develop scalable test automation frameworks and scripts using Python, Pytest, BDD frameworks, and PyCharm.
  • Execute integration, regression, and performance testing using industry-standard tools.
  • Research and evaluate new or alternative automated testing tools.
  • Use TestRail or a similar test management tool to maintain test suites, track results, and analyze failures.
  • Work independently and collaborate across teams to drive quality initiatives and lead software quality discussions.
  • Design end-to-end test scenarios when requirements are unclear or incomplete.
  • Mentor other quality engineers and support continuous improvement in test automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with data platforms, machine learning, and APIs.
  • Experience integrating testing artifacts with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of the P&C insurance domain.
  • Knowledge of Linux, databases/SQL/PostgreSQL, or shell scripting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of AWS, DevOps, and AI is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and the ability to articulate technical topics clearly.
  • Desire to automate processes and reduce manual testing effort.
