Description

  • Plan, book, and optimize paid search and shopping campaigns across Google, Bing, YouTube, Amazon, and other retail channels for 5-8 clients.
  • Develop search plans using available search planning tools and manage budgets and pacing tightly.
  • Design and run A/B tests on keywords, bid strategies, ad copy, landing pages, offers, and related elements.
  • Advise clients on paid search strategies, rationales, and plans aligned to their goals.
  • Manage monthly reporting and strategy sessions with clients, owning communication for channel initiatives.
  • Scope, develop, and manage channel initiatives to meet performance goals across all clients.
  • Monitor industry trends in search, social media, mobile marketing, tracking and tagging, behavioral marketing, retargeting, and addressability.
  • Present performance reports and forecasts, including cross-channel impact and recommended next steps.
  • Collaborate with media and creative team members to ensure negotiated creative specifications are met and to identify cross-channel opportunities.
  • Proactively surface risks, recommend pivots, and troubleshoot ad hoc client issues with solutions.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of successful hands-on paid search or SEM experience, ideally in an agency environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, science, or a related field, preferred.
  • Experience turning complex data into digestible reports and actionable plans.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Interest in e-commerce, advertising, and agency work.
  • Creative problem-solving ability and comfort troubleshooting challenges proactively.
  • Genuine passion for continuous learning and staying current on digital advertising and marketing trends.
  • Ability to work in a clean, quiet remote environment suitable for video conferencing and virtual collaboration.
