Description

  • Design and ship production-grade backend services that integrate AI models into compliance workflows.
  • Own service architecture, reliability, and scalability from end to end.
  • Automate AML/AFC compliance operations by translating agent workflows into software.
  • Build tooling for EDD automation and customer onboarding acceleration.
  • Monitor production systems, investigate issues, and run post-mortems to improve performance.
  • Track impact, flag regressions, and continuously improve the scope of your work.
  • Lead design discussions and shape the technical direction of a small engineering team.
  • Work directly with compliance operations teams to incorporate feedback and requirements.
  • Help define priorities and roadmap decisions in the absence of a dedicated product manager.

Requirements

  • Experience shipping production systems where AI is a core functional component, such as Claude, OpenAI, or open-source models.
  • Strong backend engineering experience with large-scale web application architecture and real production constraints.
  • Ideally experience with Python.
  • Sound architectural judgment and the ability to make independent system design decisions.
  • Ability to articulate technical trade-offs clearly.
  • Comfort owning the full product cycle, including scoping, prioritizing, shipping, and measuring success.
  • Experience working in or building for regulated-industry environments is preferred.
  • Experience connecting model outputs to software decisions and production workflows is preferred.
