Description

  • Own full life-cycle software development from architecture through development, release, and maintenance.
  • Analyze requirements and produce software specifications.
  • Integrate new features with existing infrastructure and collaborate across teams.
  • Contribute to the architectural evolution of the FlashBlade Networking product area.
  • Design, code, and debug systems in C and Python.
  • Support, maintain, and document software functionality.
  • Work on product components in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Participate in the development of networking capabilities for the FlashBlade platform.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working with remote teams at a product company.
  • 4-7+ years of experience developing on Linux or another *NIX variant at a product company.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Significant domain knowledge of networking stacks.
  • Experience with IPv4 and IPv6 networking protocols, API design, distributed systems, and/or device drivers.
  • Familiarity with modern switch silicon packet processing and features such as ECMP, QoS, and packet filtering.
  • Hands-on experience with Broadcom SDK.
  • Linux kernel or device driver experience.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, algorithmic, and coding skills.
  • Storage experience is desirable but not necessary.
