Description

  • Own SEO architecture, URLs, technical SEO, and structured data standards across all client websites.
  • Set and deliver a roadmap for template-level SEO improvements with the Web Development team, testing impact across the portfolio.
  • Create and maintain playbooks for onboarding, launches, migrations, content, and reporting; automate repeatable work with human review.
  • Manage URL mapping, redirects, and post-launch validation to protect rankings during launches and migrations.
  • Build and optimize content for visibility and citations in Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini.
  • Implement and maintain measurement across GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console, and call tracking to attribute leads to pages.
  • Lead, coach, and quality-review a team of SEO specialists while managing work allocation and delivery.
  • Provide monthly client recommendations and serve as the SEO expert in client reviews and prospect audits.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, including agency work across multiple clients.
  • 2+ years of experience leading or managing SEO practitioners.
  • Deep technical SEO expertise in site architecture, migrations, redirects, Core Web Vitals, structured data, internal linking, and crawl and index management.
  • Experience with local SEO for multi-location or service-area businesses, including Google Business Profile, citations, and reviews.
  • Demonstrated ability to build processes and deploy improvements across many websites.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and WordPress.
  • Hands-on experience with SEMrush or Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Search Console, GA4, Tag Manager, and AI-search visibility testing.
  • Experience in home-services SEO and contractor lead economics, including calls, booked jobs, and average ticket, is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating landing pages and attribution with paid search is preferred.
  • Experience with AI-assisted SEO workflows is preferred.
